There was a phase when the artist found herself feeling unsettled—not quite feeling good anywhere, without being able
to understand why. While exploring a book about the body’s chakras, she came across the idea of the Heart Chakra,
associated with the colour green and often connected with emotional balance, love and inner harmony.
That became the inspiration for this artwork.
The artist chose to immerse the entire canvas in shades of green, discovering how the colour itself could create a sense
of calmness and stillness. At the centre, a woman appears to be blooming within nature, her form intertwined with
flowing organic shapes and botanical-inspired elements.
Heart Chakra is therefore not a literal representation of a chakra, but a visual expression of an inner journey—from
feeling blocked and unsettled to finding calm, connection and emotional openness.
