Sky is pink
Sky Is Pink is a story about love, partnership and the freedom to pursue one’s dreams.
The artwork draws from a familiar reality we often see in society—the idea that women are expected to stand behind their
husband’s dreams, passions and ambitions. Here, the artist explores that dynamic through a real-life couple who share a
passion for biking.
The man is shown looking forward with an intense, almost aggressive energy—completely immersed in his passion and looking
towards the world ahead. The woman, however, is looking towards him while holding his helmet. Her gesture becomes a quiet
but powerful symbol of support, companionship and shared dreams.
Yet, the artwork is not about one person following and the other simply supporting. It is about the idea that when you
genuinely love someone, their dream can become a part of your shared journey.
The couple may look in different directions, but they are moving through life together. And when there is understanding,
support and happiness between two people, even the sky feels pink.
